Two beekeepers met on the www...
...looking for a way to sell honey in a vending machine, I came across Matthias' excellent Arduino programming after an attempt to convert a bottle vending machine failed miserably - honey jars simply have a larger diameter...
Without further ado, I built a vending machine.
In the meantime, I came up with more and more ideas that annoyed Matthias.
But to my delight, we were able to realize everything in what has become an excellent teamwork.
The software can now not only accept coins with a coin counter, but also banknotes. Digital payment by card or cell phone can also be integrated.
Matthias has also integrated a Powersafe function so that the vending machines can also be operated using batteries or solar power.
And so it came about that there were more and more wires and components that needed to be put together. I then summarized this on a circuit board and this can also be installed in DIY vending machines by electrically inexperienced people.
During this process, the idea of providing vending machines for beekeepers or other users who do not have the technical or time resources to build one, or even just individual parts, i.e. from the smallest transistor to the finished machine, came up more and more.
